When you install Skype, you can set it to start automatically when you boot your Windows 7 computer. If you no longer want it to start up automatically, you can turn it off on the Skype Options. Click the gear icon on the upper-right-hand side of your contact list Select Personal from the list of options on the left Check Automatically start the app when I log in to Windows Click OK to save your changes.
Hello Abhishek,You may use below to achieve thisManual method:Open Skype for Business client -file-tools-Options-Personal.Remove check mark: Automatically start the app when I log on to Windows and Start the app in the foreground.Automatic method or workaround: No easy way to do thisJust add a registry key delete item entry to the group policy preference pointing to 'HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun'for the key 'lync'. Whenever the policy gets refreshed either during logon or during Group Policy refresh interval, it will remove the entry no matter how many times the users set the auto-launch through the GUI.Regards Balu Ilag MCSA, MCITP.
